The first edition of the Luxembourg Healthcare Summit held on June 5, 2014 gathered more than 300 participants. The event brought together healthcare and life sciences representatives, healthcare professionals and policy makers, offering the opportunity to discuss the future challenges of these sectors. On the occasion of this event, the first Luxembourg Healthcare Awards rewarded outstanding performance as well as the best initiatives with the main objective to further improve emulation.

“I thought that the Health Care Summit was the occasion for the perinatal health system to be in the limelight: this heath perinatal surveillance system is one of the most efficient and innovative in Europe” reports Aline Lecomte, Project Investigator at the Centre for Health Studies. “This Award is, for sure, the occasion to remind everyone of the role of such a system in the field of Public Health and how it helps making the right decisions on a national scale”, she explains. “This experience was unique: first for the project itself, and second for the teamwork and the collaboration between CRP-Santé, the Ministry of Health, healthcare professionals, without whom this project could not have been successful” reports Aline Lecomte.
